I recently got a little sunburn with our 3 days of summer heat, so I used your Yankee doodle dandy balm and it work like you said. I kept it in the fridge as you said which kept me cool when applying it. A definite winner….Margaret C

My brother passed away 6 years ago and I wanted to do something to raise funds in his honour and Pieta House seemed like the perfect fit. This balm was the result and for the last 5 years it has proved a huge hit ( it sells out fast) so its back for a Limited Edition run again.
My brother spent the second half of his life in the States with his wife and 3 kids and we used to give him an awful slagging about the yankee accent he developed so hence the name!
I’ve used a dandelion (they were picked from the wild area I keep out over my back wall) infusion for the base for this super duper, multi purpose balm as dandelions are absolutely packed with anti-oxidants so are really powerful for repairing skin damage and preventing further damage.
There is also super moisturising organic coconut oil in there and protectIve organic beeswax and organic cocoa butter. The essential oil blend I’ve used is a combination of roman chamomile, lavender & tea tree - some of my absolute favourite oils to use. It is soothing, calming, healing, gentle, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory - a real multi purpose blend. A great first aider to have in your bathroom cabinet.
In our house it has been used for scrapes, nettle stings, sun burn, insect bites, as a lip balm, face cleanser, hand cream, on my daughters super dry legs….the list is endless. TOP TIP - keep it in the fridge!
This year I’ve decided to bring the balm to you in a more solid form, in a compostable cardboard tube. Over time the cardboard may get discoloured but it won’t affect the quality of the product - it’s just the natural oils & butters.
